GREEN BIKE BLOCK PARTY AT 3RD WARD

We joined our buddies at 3rd Ward yesterday for a block party to celebrate their 3rd anniversary in Brooklyn. May is bike month in New York City, so the 3rd Wardians have custom designed 200 purdy little green bikes to give away to the next 200 people to sign up for a membership. Considering that a base membership to the arts collective is $40/month, it’s a steal.

Due to unfortunate weather conditions involving the accumulation of moisture in cumulus clouds (or whatever the fuck), the party was indoors, but that didn’t stop anyone from a having a free Colt 45-fueled rockin’ good time.

We sang some dirty ditties while bike blending up lemonade slushies and pedal-powering a laptop. Time Out New York thought the party was pretty happening. Bushwick BK got her groove on as well. But you should really watch this video by Lam Thuy Lo for the full experience.
