Songbird Makes Debut in el Arbol at the Maker’s Faire

July 16th ride to Brooklyn Bike Shop

Band of Bicycles moseyed on over to Brooklyn Bike Shop (1342A De Kalb) last Thursday after some food, tunes, and system tests at our 3rd Ward home base. Seabeast rocked the shop with accompaniment from Baby Willis, Aubrey sang about how she really felt about her last relationship, followed by an aria from Natalya.

Shira’s birthday and community ride to Trafe bike shop — July 9th, 2009
Our beloved Shira received cake and song before our Band of Bicycles hit the road to take Trafe bike shop by storm (S 6th street, Brooklyn, right by the Williamsburg bridge and the Times Up! space) . Dancing in the streets and an impromptu concert ensued, as they so often do.

*Innovator Dude Hotness, a show n tell, demonstration, bicycle playground
[ July 16, 2009; 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm. ] **… and all around fun time.*
We gather at 3rd Ward starting at 5pm for bike repair, with the theme “Dude Innovation” in response to the Babe Innvoation challenge presented at the last Bike Repair Night.
We are getting getting out the biker bar, dusting it off and getting it up and running as well as possible. [...]
