Uh-Huh….The House of YES
………………………….now has a bike rack!
HOUSE OF YES BIKE RACK
Produced by:
Olivia: the best grrl welder this side of bushwick and rigger on the Horror Show which is featured in this week’s Huffington Post as one of the best Halloween Events in NYC,
Brett: the very male lead in The Horror Show which must be seen by anyone who loves: Ballet, Olga, Red’s Curly Tresses, Aerial Dance, The House of YES, Interesting Sets, Stumblebum Brass Band, Underground Opportunities, Glamour or Riot)
Zach: the Upright Bassist we met on our very first group bike ride to Traif Bike Shoppe who I totally thought lived on the boat, but actually we really need to build a bike cart for his big instruments
Bobby Dangerously who well, you know… used re-claimed wheels and parts to create a black and gold rack that spells YES.
& ME: I basically just took pictures, drank, coffee and learned to use the saw, while Olivia reminded me not to stare at the welding bright and vivid light.
THE HOUSE OF YES NOW HAS A BIKE RACK. Lock yer bike to it next time you visit the house and let us know what you think!
Zev got a birthday haircut haircut from Anneabelle his friend visiting from Asheville. The occassion of this gender maintenance ritual in the Salon? Of course: His Birthday and the debut of his new Geneva Jacuzzi video. It is so 80′s it was featured on Vice. Funny that they will cover a literal piece of crap like this and not even be aware of How To Do Things With Words an exhibition of radical speech acts from artists all over the world, but whatever. Zev makes tons of viral video campaigns, he made the one for the corporate Survivaball video. If you have to mention something interesting about the Hot Tub Helen Video he made, it would have to be the crystal studded eye patches and bra, which were originally featured in the BATOY Xango Shola Water Ceremony at 3rd Ward last Spring. In any case you are ever in the market for quartz wearables, Zev David Deans is your man. Or a very well made printed textile, or a Haunted House of YES. Don’t judge him for his total obsession with Salome and cardboard lightning bolts. He actually is a really good, very hot artist who inadvertently designed the theme of this website when he created the black birds on a pink sky building a nest out of broken bike parts as a poster for Jeff Stark’s, Nonsense 10 Year Anniversary Party at 3rd Ward.
